Marsh said Michael Crowley has joined the firm as senior enterprise risk advisor for digital infrastructure.
In this newly created role, Crowley will help digital infrastructure clients manage risk and build resilience throughout the full lifecycle of their projects, from development and contracting through construction and operations.
Crowley joins Marsh from Meta, where he spent 10 years as a risk manager, leading the company’s insurance and risk management programs, including an owner-controlled insurance program for its data centers, which covered over $200 billion in construction values. He previously served as data center construction sourcing manager at Facebook and Amazon Web Services.
Mike Mathews, global digital infrastructure practice leader at Marsh said Crowley is the “latest digital infrastructure veteran to join our team as we help clients navigate an unmatched pace of risk.”
Crowley said “investment and development continue to outpace the industry’s ability to manage the risks that come with it.”
